Glenn Calder

Glenn Calder has over 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry, commencing after a 10-year career in education. Glenn became the founding CEO of Viridian Financial Group in 2015 when he and a group of like-minded, culturally aligned advisers created a business that put client outcomes at the centre of every decision and champions access to financial advice for all Australians.

As Joint CEO of Viridian, Glenn is responsible for a national organisation that now approaches 500 staff and services over 16,000 Australians. He leads the group’s strategic vision, developing advice and investment solutions that put technology and education at the forefront in creating a financial services firm where staff are fulfilled, clients are connected, and shareholders are rewarded.

Glenn‘s background in education underpins his approach to financial services, which is focused on communication, empathy and understanding to build trusted relationships. At the same time, his extensive experience at the coalface of the advice industry provides the metal to lead Viridian into the rigours of the future.

Glenn holds a Bachelor of Education from Melbourne University and an MBA from Deakin. Alongside his role as Joint CEO, Glenn is a member of The Principals’ Community Advisory Council.
