Darren Little

Darren Little is the General Manager of Lending and Executive Director of Viridian Financial Group Ltd. He has over 35 years in financial services and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Darren has been at Smartmove for over 14 years and prior to this, Darren was at the St George Banking Group for 26 years with a wide range of experience in distribution, operations and credit. The roles included Head of Mortgage Broker Services for the St George Banking Group and Head of 3rd Party & Specialist Distribution for BankSA.

In his role as CEO & Director of Smartmove, Darren was responsible for the overall running of the organisation with three key focuses – sustainability, productivity and profitability and grew the business to multiple sites in Australia and two offshore operations centres of excellence in Kathmandu and Manila which are wholly owned. Smartmove is one of Australia’s largest independent mortgage broking groups and is now part of the Viridian Group.
